Topshop Dress Up Preview Party Launch.

Luck, funny thing, I would say. I have never believed in luck since I was young but then, there couldn't be any more other explanation to why I actually won the free tickets to witness the new Topshop Dress Up Preview Party Launch. I actually got a ticket myself, being a F3 card member (I know it made no difference) but atleast I got a RM50 voucher all thanks to TiC.

So if you were wondering, why Topshop, KLCC was closed last 3 weeks ago (yes, I know this post is super back dated), lemme walk you through why:

#1. The outlet.
Here's the third largest Topshop outlet in the whole of Malaysia (if I'm not mistaken). Why do I know? That's cause I worked in Topshop before. Right after my SPM and if you ask, it wasn't so pleasant working there. The long hours with nothing to do, I'd rather you point a gun at me and shoot. Anyways, here's a picture of the shop as it closes down to prepare for the event. I was there rather early(with all my iPhone drama) so I got to see how people ended up pretty confused when they weren't allowed to enter the shop at 7pm.

# 2. The Clothes.
Yes, every girl's heaven. Every girl wishes her wardrobe to be the shopping mall, no? I know I do. But yeah, for now, I'll just stick to "dreaming that it'll happen". Anyways, Dress Up, the new line carried by only a few outlets in Malaysia, is a whole new line of dresses and clothes suitable for parties and events. It carries a touch of glamor with every design but yet maintains its chic. I saw a few dresses that I love. Gotta save up now, don't I? Anyways, girls, if you are looking for party dresses, make sure you check Topshop out.

# 3. The Fashionistas.
Everyone who went for the launch was very much a fashionista themselves. Everyone who attended was damn chio, making a fashion statement to leave a lasting impression. Here's some pictures.

This is Shantee from TiC, who handpicked me to win. Thanks Shantee!

This is what I wore the other day:
Top: Dorothy Perkins
High-waisted Skirt: Topshop
Jacket: Berjaya Times Square
Bracelets & Glasses: Flea Market
Bag: Dorothy Perkins
Shoes: Vincci (not in picture)

# 4. The new Make-Up line.
Topshop has just launched its new make up line and they had make up artists there to help us with the products. I tried some of the products and I would say, I really like the dark electric blue eye shadow. Its really nice but I didn't get them cause the products are mostly not waterproof/ smudgeproof. My skin gets oily easily so these two attributes for my make up is a must.

#5. The Party.
Topshop even hired a female DJ for this event. It was a pretty smart move to make the whole atmosphere more energetic and upbeat to suit the new line. Even the DJ was a fashionista herself! She was very well dressed, looking like a biker. What I remembered most was her biker's gloves. Love em'. They also had these cute bubble cakes for the guests as refreshments. And the people from Topshop took a picture of me when I was eating them. So cute ohh-eemm-geee.

So yeah, I sure hope that I cleared things up for you people who were wondering about the big hoo-haahh that was happening in Topshop KLCC 3 weeks ago. It was pretty fun for me I would say, meeting other fashionistas. More to come, more to come!

I've got heels fetish.

I'm falling in love with really high heels. The higher, the better. I mean, why not? Yea, I'm only 5'3, short, I know. All the more reason to lengthen my legs. Those high heels, not only make me look taller, it immediately take a few pounds off my fat thighs! I'm not kidding. Girls out there, its a trick to be learnt. And I love it when these babies can me me feel  really confident and in control whenever I stride into a room, any room, for that matters. Well, its a good thing, no? We girls should always walk, shoulders squared, chin up.

Look at these polka dots baby!
I've always, always loved polka dots.
True definition of classic, demure, with alil' cheekiness all wrapped up in one.

Psychedelically colours!
I've always been crazy for bright colours, especially yellow.
Somewhat adds the spunk to your outfit, don't ya think?
Seriously, how can you say no to those heels?

Designs like this which screams attention!
I've been searching high and low for this all over KL now with no avail. =(

The good-for-everything-Boots.
I have been gawking at these babies for damn long now.
They go well with almost everything in the fashion dictionary!
Pair em' up with shorts, denims, minis, dresses or even leggings and you're good to go.

My all-time-favourite,
The classic peep-toes.
I swear I have at least 3-4 of these in my shoe rack.
and I don't mind adding more to the collection.

And so again, with this post, I officially announce that I'm down with the shopping fever. I'm so on for a hunting mission for all these babies! How can I leave them undiscovered, unowned and alone in the shops? Shopping kaki, anyone?

Top 2011 Fashion Hairstyles.

Okay, seriously, I need a haircut, badly. My ends are not in good terms with one another and they are splitting up, literally. My hair colour is so uneven, I think I have like 3-4 shades of colour all jumbled up on my head! Yeah, I do sound like I have a lion's mane don't I? Well, I really feel like I have one. Another reason is simply cause I feel like having a change of look. haha. Its the time again. I have had a whole cycle of change of hair styles last year and now I'm back to square one. So what should I get this time?

So I did what I do best, ask Dr. G. Well, Dr. G said that these are the top 2011 looks and told me that I should get one of these hairstyles. What do you think?

The "romantic" hairstyle.
I lol-ed at this when I saw it. I mean, the romantic hairstyle? wtf? Anyways, I guess its supposed to mean the wavy, curly hairstyle.

Sassy huh? Look at Megan Fox, she has the 40's Marilyn Monroe, glam look. OMG. How can any guy say no to that? Its super alluring! Curls brings out the feminine vibe in a women, probably the one which suits me most. But believe me, it only does look good on celebrities. I did curls once, its super hard to maintain. And now I've gotten myself a curler, so nah, I don't think I want permanent curls anytime soon. Next..

The Bob
I've always wanted this. But what say you?

Chic huh? I love how bob brings out the face structure of the person yet still have the soft side to it. It is somewhat mod yet glam. I lovee this. Should I? People say I have a big face. Ya, like I don't already know, sakit k? But having a big face, I have a strong jawline too. And ain't that something good for short hair? I need help! Probably the next cut. Believe me. You will see me with this hair one day. I still want to have my long mane.

The Boy-ish look.
Whaddya say? hahaaa. I got a feeling, half of my friends would probably faint if I do have such short hair. Believe me, questions that I will get will be stuffs like, "Eh! What happened to you lar? You going through some big life crisis isit?" Believe me, this is one of the reactions I've heard when my friend got a Justin Bieber haircut.

No. I'm not out of my mind. Seriously. See! Kiera Knightly can rock the look and she has got a big jawline and face. I just might consider. Rocker chic. This cut is really sharp and strong. Not exactly me, cause, I'm always categorized as the feminine type, but hey, I can party too! Besides, its a haircut that demands attention from everyone in the room and yes, which girl doesn't like attention?

Ahh. It all look soo good! All my friends had been forbidding me to cut my hair off, saying that it will not be "me" anymore. That my "zen" vibe will be killed off which happened when I got my bangs last year. Well, bangs was good, but apparently it doesn't spell "me". So yeah! I need help which hairstyle to get next?
